Firdaus Sadid is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Economics, Statistics, and Biochemistry. Mr. Sadid was valedictorian at his high school in Calgary, and continues to pursue leadership and service roles at the University of Toronto. Beyond the Governing Council, he is the Executive Treasurer of the Arts & Science Students’ Union and the Academic Director of the Biochemistry Undergraduate Student Association. Driven by his inclinations in research, Mr. Sadid was a recipient of the Alberta Innovates High School Youth Research (HYRS) award, conducting research in neurophysiology, at the University of Calgary, in the eleventh grade. Currently, his research endeavours continue at MaRS, through his work in molecular genetics, at the Lipshitz laboratory. He is greatly interested in the intersections of investment, finance, biotech, and healthcare.
