Membership

The Academic Appeals Committee is composed of:

- At least 7 (seven) teaching staff members
- At least 3 (three) students
- At least 2 (two) lay members (drawn from amongst the government appointee, alumni, and administrative staff members of the Governing Council)
- 4 (four) appointed Chairs, all of whom are legally qualified, and one of whom is designated the Senior Chair.

Academic appeals are heard by a panel of 5 (five) Committee members, the majority of whom must be members of Governing Council. Panels must include:
- At least 1 (one) student
- At least 3 (three) teaching staff members
